A little about me...

Born in England, Alan has since 1991 lived and travelled for extended periods in Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland and Germany. Largely self-taught, Alan has experimented with a variety of film media as well as digital, and has captured a diverse range of subjects including landscapes and natural scenes, festivals and events, and a variety of people and cultures.

Also being a keen amateur musician, Alan has captured images of many bands and performances ranging from small Pubs and Clubs to International festivals. Over the years there have been opportunities to photograph small up-and-coming bands, more established events such as the Montreux festival, and rare charity gig pictures featuring Eric Clapton and other rock dignitaries unwinding.

Alan has had pictures acclaimed and published in various magazines and has undertaken a number of commissions for clients covering a range of subjects.
